Ramallah, Palestine – Union Construction and Investment Co (UCI) is pleased to announce the commencement of structural works for the Masyoun Gardens project, one of the company’s latest real estate developments. This structural work follows the completion of the laying of the foundation stone, which was overseen by the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the first founder of UCI, Dr. Mohamed Al-Sabawi, during a well-attended ceremony in December 2016.
Masyoun Gardens spans a total area of 3,000 square meters in the prestigious Al-Masyoun neighborhood of Ramallah; recognized as one of the most desirable places to live in Palestine. The development consists of four residential buildings designed in accordance with the highest and latest international standards of construction, and each of these buildings contains 16 apartments with a variety of sizes to fit all the requirements of the Palestinian family.
Eng. Khaled Sabawi, UCI’s CEO and Vice Chairman, said “I am very proud of the progress made in the building and construction works at the project site. We are in-line with our scheduled time frame and we expect to begin delivery of the completed apartments to Palestinian families in the summer of 2018.”
Eng. Sabawi added that, in the planning of Masyoun Gardens, UCI took into account a number of factors. “We assessed the Palestinian real estate market, which included the political and economic environment and its effects on Palestinian society. As a result, the public response to the project has been extremely positive and we have achieved sales which have exceeded all expectations. Within just seven months of the project’s launch, all of the residential units offered in the first stage of the project - representing 50% of the entire project - were sold, and the second sales stage was launched in the final quarter of 2016.”
Eng. Sabawi emphasized that UCI seeks to provide high quality real estate projects which are affordable to all sections of Palestinian society. Masyoun Gardens is a perfect example of this approach, and the prices of the project’s residential apartments allow ordinary Palestinians to own a modern residential unit in the most prestigious neighborhood of Ramallah.
Mr. Mohammad Abdullah, who purchased an apartment in the first stage of the Masyoun Gardens project, said "what encouraged me to buy an apartment in this project is the favorable payment process which is without a down payment and includes direct monthly installments with UCI for just 10 years, as well as the highly professional conduct of the company's staff. They deserve my thanks and appreciation." These installments begin at just 699 JD, and this unique payment plan represents a first for Palestine.
