Ramallah, 12 July 2023: Union Construction and Investment Company (UCI) and Bounyan Real Estate Development (BOUNYAN) have signed a joint cooperation agreement to market the lands of TABO project, which is the most important and prevalent development project of UCI in Palestine.
The agreement was signed by Mr. Khaled Sabawi, CEO and Vice Chairman of UCI, and Mr. Diaa Shweiki, CEO of Bounyan Real Estate Development, in the presence of Mr. Awadallah Awad, Board Member of UCI, and the executive management of both companies, at UCI's headquarters located in Al Masyoun neighborhood in Ramallah.
Mr. Khaled Sabawi stressed the importance of this cooperation, saying: "Through this strategic agreement, we seek to combine the experience of the two companies in the field of real estate development in order to expand the scope of marketing and promotional activities of the TABO project, and create more distinctive and diverse opportunities to attract new investors from the Palestinian people interested in buying land for investment, housing or entertainment purposes alike."
Sabawi pointed out that this step comes in the context of the efforts of the two companies to strengthen their position in the real estate market, and to achieve more successes and fruitful relations with all companies and institutions operating in the country.
For his part, Mr. Diaa Al Shweiki appreciated the cooperation that brought them together with the "UCI", saying: "This cooperation with UCI, which provides our people in the city of Jerusalem and the rest of the governorates of the country the opportunity to invest and own plots of land within the "TABO" project, which we are proud of its national contribution in expanding the scope of land ownership for Palestinians and confirming their presence on it, and we are fully confident that signing this agreement will be the beginning of a constructive cooperation with this well-established company."
It is worth noting that the "TABO" project is one of the most prominent projects of UCI, a public shareholding company, and one of the largest construction and real estate development companies in Palestine since 2005. The company has implemented many prestigious residential and commercial projects in Palestine, and since the launch of the TABO project in 2011, it contributed in protecting more than 1,000,000 square meters of land in Palestine and facilitating the ownership of more than 700 Palestinian families in more than 1,000 plots of land. It invested more than 5 million dollars in road and electricity infrastructure development projects in Ramallah and Salfit governorates.
